The Vision

  • Birmingham has award-winning bars and restaurants, impressive breweries, and coffee shops worth lingering in. We’re lucky to live in a city that’s full of places to gather, and we love every one of them. But somewhere along the way, too many nights out started looking the same: meet for dinner, grab a drink, call it a night. We think there’s room for something more.

    Not something louder or more extravagant. Just something a little more playful. Because there’s something special that happens when people have something to do together: conversations happen more naturally, laughter comes a little easier, and phones stay in pockets for longer. Somewhere between the first hole and the last, you’re reminded that spending time together doesn’t have to be complicated. We created Minnie’s because we believe Birmingham deserves a new place to play.

  • We chose mini golf because it’s one of the few activities that truly welcomes everyone. You don’t need experience. You don’t need expensive equipment. You don’t even need to keep score if you don’t want to. Whether you’re on a first date, celebrating with family, meeting coworkers after work, or simply catching up with friends, mini golf has a remarkable way of bringing people together. It breaks the ice, sparks conversation, creates a little friendly competition, and gives everyone a reason to laugh.

    To us, mini golf isn’t the destination. It’s the excuse to spend another hour together, order one more drink, and make a memory that lasts longer than the scorecard.

  • From the very beginning, we knew we weren’t just designing a mini golf course, we were designing an evening. That’s why every decision has been intentional. 

    We partnered with one of Birmingham’s most celebrated hospitality figures, because we believe great food deserves to be part of the experience, not just an afterthought. 

    We designed a botanical-inspired space that feels vibrant, welcoming, and unlike anywhere else in the city. 

    And we built a bar that invites you to linger, celebrate, and order one more round before heading home. 

    Every detail exists for one simple reason: to create a place where people want to linger. 

  • Minnie’s could have been built in any city, but it belongs in Birmingham. And specifically in Parkside, the neighborhood that has become the heartbeat of the Magic City’s revival. We’re opening inside Urban Supply, the century-old warehouse district being reimagined block by block just off Railroad Park, steps from Regions Field and Good People Brewing Company. It’s a neighborhood built on the same idea we built Minnie’s around: old bones made new again, gathered around a walkable stretch of restaurants, breweries, and shops designed for spending time together.

    This is a city that celebrates local businesses, embraces creativity, and continues to surprise people with what’s around the next corner. It’s a city full of momentum, and we’re excited to become part of its story, right in the middle of the district that’s leading it. Our hope is that Minnie’s becomes more than somewhere you visit. We hope it becomes somewhere where birthdays become traditions, first dates become anniversaries, coworkers become friends, and families make memories together year after year.

  • We don’t expect everyone to love mini golf. We simply believe everyone deserves more reasons to get together. If we can create a place where people laugh a little louder, stay a little longer, and leave already planning their next visit, then we’ve done exactly what we set out to do. That’s the vision behind Minnie’s, and we can’t wait to share it with Birmingham.
